Multiple Production Operatives – Swindon

Cotswold Talent Solutions are proud to be working in partnership with a prodcution business located in Swindon. We are currently seeking multiple Production Operatives to join the production team at our clients state of the art Production, Warehouse and Distribution facility in Swindon . The ideal candidate will have a knowledge of Warehouse/Production operations.

This is a fantastic position, which is offering an immediate start on an ongoing basis. This role can lead to a permanent position after a successful trial period

This role is paying £12.21 per hour for core hours (Monday to Friday)

Shifts available for the Production Operative Role:

• Monday to Friday
• 06.30 – 1500pm
• Weekend overtime available paying up to £23.00 per hour

**Due to the location of this client, a daily Transport Share is available – Swindon Town Centre pick up **

Responsibilities:

• To complete all given work tasks in scheduled time base
• Operation of specialist laser cutting machines to manufacture high quality products (training provided)
• Work as part of a team to load and unload laser cutting machines
• Picking, packing and preparing the finished products for dispatch
• Follow standard operating procedures to ensure quality standards are met
• To ensure that all Health and Safety rules and procedures are always adhered to ensure a safe working environment for all employees and visitors
• Report to Production Coordinator / Team Leader about any defects or faults
• Scan all jobs onto the ERP system in real time to ensure up to date information on all production processes.
• Display excellent levels of teamwork and co-operation when working with colleagues in other departments / other areas of production
• To ensure that workplace and equipment is cleaned every day.
