Any 5 days out of 7 including weekends – Rota is provided in advance. Start at 6am, no guaranteed finish time
Description & Duties:
You will be working for a worldwide, high street brand, picking goods for store deliveries. This is a fast paced picking role which involves working to pick targets hourly. This role is working in the Chill and Ambient area – Sometimes it will require work in the ambient section.
- To complete all given work tasks in scheduled time base
- Working towards hourly and daily pick targets - training is provided
- Use of a Low level order picker - training is provided
- Use of a voice activated headset and picking system
- Wrapping pallets safely
- To ensure that all Health and Safety rules and procedures are always adhered to ensure a safe working environment for all employees and visitors
- Report any issues or quality problems to your supervisor or line manager
- Display excellent levels of teamwork and co-operation when working with colleagues in other departments / other areas of production
- To ensure that workplace and equipment is cleaned every day
- On some roles - Experience with materials handling and heavy lifting is beneficial
Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any concerns or questions from clients.
