Dispatch Operative

Cotswold Talent Solutions are proud to be working in partnership with a production business located in South Marston, Swindon.

We are currently seeking multiple Dispatch Operatives to join the production team at our clients state of the art Production, Warehouse and Distribution facility in South Marston, Swindon. The ideal candidate will have a knowledge of Warehouse operations.

This is a fantastic position, which is offering an immediate start on an ongoing basis. This role can lead to a permanent position after a successful trial period and involves working with lightweight products in a clean and tidy facility in Swindon.

This role is paying £12.30 per hour for core hours (Monday to Friday)

Shifts available for the Production Operative Role:

• Monday to Friday
• 06.30 – 15:00pm
• Overtime available with overtime rates in place

**Due to the location of this client, a daily Transport Share is available – Swindon Town Centre pick up **

Responsibilities:

• To complete all given work tasks in scheduled time base
• Picking by hand using a pick sheet
• Scanning goods and labels
• Organisation of products for dispatch process
• Packing work as and when required
• Use of internal dispatch systems as and when required (training provided)
• Work as part of a team to load goods as and when requried
• Picking, packing and preparing the finished products for dispatch
• Follow standard operating procedures to ensure quality standards are met
• To ensure that all Health and Safety rules and procedures are always adhered to ensure a safe working environment for all employees and visitors
• Report toTeam Leader about any defects or faults
• Display excellent levels of teamwork and co-operation when working with colleagues in other departments
• To ensure that workplace and equipment is cleaned every day
